How we will work with machines in the future

ForumZUKUNFT event series at the Chemnitz Museum of Industry

On December 14 at 6:00 p.m., the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) “Hybrid Societies” of the Technical University of Chemnitz (TUC) and the Chemnitz Museum of Industry invite you for the last time this year to the ForumZUKUNFT event series to discuss the coexistence of humans and machines at the Chemnitz Museum of Industry, Zwickauer Straße 119.

The speaker and discussion partner will be Prof. Dr. Gabriele Buruck, holder of the Chair for Health Promotion and Prevention at the West Saxon University of Zwickau. In her lecture, she will focus on New Work: How We Can Collaborate Healthily with Machines in the Future.

How can the free development of personality be harmonized with human–machine interactions in future work activities? This requires a process negotiated under the criteria of data protection and co-determination, accompanied by targeted further training. Otherwise, there is a risk that employees will be overwhelmed by information overload and high complexity. How—and under which conditions—can learning and personal development on the one hand, and digital and AI-based applications for new work and organizational forms on the other, be successfully combined? Prof. Dr. Gabriele Buruck will address these pressing questions, share current insights from applied research, and present findings from the PerspektiveArbeitLausitz (PAL) project. In the spirit of the forum, there will be ample opportunity to discuss research and experience.

Admission to the event is free.
