After eight weeks, the special exhibition “WerkSchau – Made in Sachsen” by KREATIVES SACHSEN is drawing to an end. Visitors to the Chemnitz Museum of Industry were able to experience the fascinating world of Saxony’s cultural and creative industries up close.
Over 130 Saxon exhibitors presented their remarkable works, offering an impressive insight into the diversity of the creative scene. Since its opening on March 30, 2023, the exhibition has welcomed 15,500 visitors from around the world.
The finale of “WerkSchau – Made in Sachsen” will take place on May 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., celebrating the success of the exhibition with a final tour and a lively program. Guests can enjoy a live concert, a dance performance on skates, live graffiti, and numerous hands-on activities such as making dried flower wreaths, sewing bags, or creating their own animated short films.
"‘WerkSchau – Made in Sachsen’ is an impressive demonstration of the creativity, talent, and innovative power present in Saxony," says curator Susanne Grund of KREATIVES SACHSEN. "We are proud to have offered both exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to experience Saxony’s cultural and creative industries live, making this vibrant scene visible."
