The Silver Line
of Saxony’s Industrial History
A long silver line runs through the exhibition hall. Jagged like a lightning bolt, it draws the visitors’ attention.
Like on a runway, highlights from over 200 years of Saxony’s industrial history are presented there. The range spans automobiles, two-wheelers, textiles, office machines, mining products, and machine tools, up to some of the latest innovative products from the Free State. These include, for example, a “singing sheet of music” from TU Chemnitz or low-energy houses from FASA AG.
