Master Malimo guides the youngest visitors through the permanent exhibition of the Chemnitz Museum of Industry. Over 50 years ago, Master Malimo promoted a fabric called Malimo on East German television. Now, Master Malimo introduces stations that are particularly suitable for children.

In the accompanying exhibition booklet, Master Malimo explains technical achievements to children or provides insights into the history of the exhibits. How is a chocolate figure made? Can you swing in a bathtub, and why is the locomotive in the Chemnitz Museum of Industry called “Kreuzspinne”? Master Malimo helps find the answers to these and many other questions.
