Programs for secondary schools and grammar schools
A visit to the Chemnitz Museum of Industry complements classroom teaching by engaging with original objects from Saxon industrial history. This tangible experience can provide students with an initial introduction to the topic of industrialization or serve as a supplement to their existing knowledge. The content of the permanent exhibition offers connections not only to history lessons but also to subjects such as physics, technology, computer science, and home economics. The project programs cover various industrial sectors, providing a deeper understanding of three centuries of industrial and technological history. The hands-on programs help young people develop both technical and social skills.
