IMPULSE – Life in Chemnitz
Student Competition on the Theme of "Water"
Over 150 art exhibits on the theme of water were on display at the Chemnitz Museum of Industry.
The works were created by students from Chemnitz secondary schools, who participated in the competition organized by the association Kunst für Chemnitz e. V. and the Chemnitz Museum of Industry. The exhibits represented the best works from each school.
In interpreting the theme, the students were free to choose their approach. Individual and group projects emerged in the fields of painting, graphic art, photography, as well as three-dimensional and digital works.
The winners in each age group were honored at the exhibition opening at the Chemnitz Museum of Industry.
