UPHEAVAL – Hear the Unheard

Musical Interventions in the Permanent Exhibition

Young musicians engage with the theme of UPHEAVAL in this experimental concert performance within the permanent exhibition of the Chemnitz Museum of Industry.

In a creative dialogue with the machines, sounds, and stories of industrial culture, they make the “unheard” musically and theatrically perceptible. Which upheavals shaped Saxony’s industrial culture? What sound stories lie hidden behind the exhibited objects? And what happens when music meets industrial heritage? Using live electronics, contemporary repertoire, voice, and improvisation, the musicians explore these questions—developing spontaneous live interactions during your museum visit.
