Final concert

Students from Poland and Germany make music across borders

As part of the Kamenica Musica project, students from the Zespole Szkół Muzycznych in Łódź teamed up with students from Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium Chemnitz to initiate a student exchange.

In May, the Polish students will visit Chemnitz, attending the Museum Night, the ballet, and other cultural offerings in the city. They will join classes at the Gymnasium and rehearse together with the Chemnitz students. The concert at the Chemnitz Museum of Industry will be the highlight of their stay. Here, connections are forged through music, while also bringing to life the similar histories of Chemnitz and Łódź: industry, growth, culture, and encounters create a tangible sense of unity that evening, despite the national border between the cities.
