Know.Share.Discover
Night of the Libraries
For the first time, the Night of the Libraries is being held nationwide.
Under the motto Know.Share.Discover, small and large libraries, specialized libraries, public and academic libraries open their doors on the first Friday evening in April, inviting visitors to explore the diverse offerings available.
With the Night of the Libraries, the German Library Association and its 16 state associations aim to draw nationwide attention to the wide range of library services and invite people to experience their libraries in a new way.
Have you visited the specialist library of the Chemnitz Museum of Industry? Here, literature on Saxon economic and industrial history is collected, both in print and digitally, including numerous company publications, commemorative volumes, chronicles, and catalogs.
During guided tours, held on the hour (6, 7, 8, and 9 PM, maximum 15 participants), you can discover our treasures.
