An exceptional concert evening unites the glittering world of Broadway with the cinematic aesthetic of Hollywood, interwoven with the profound history of industrialisation. Beneath the historic roof of the Industriemuseum Chemnitz—an architectural testament to the pride and technological achievement of the early 1920s—a musical journey unfolds through film, musical theatre, and lived history.

Together with musical soprano Julia Taschler, the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue, and under the baton of Andreas Pabst, the Singakademie Chemnitz presents a dazzling programme ranging from homage to heroism, from tragedy to triumph. Immerse yourself in the glamorous worlds of stage and screen and look forward to an evening of magical moments and powerful emotions.

Framed by the soundtrack of James Cameron’s Titanic and the choral-symphonic music from Maury Yeston’s musical of the same name, the programme also features selections from Star Wars, James Bond, and Schindler’s List, alongside beloved melodies from musicals such as Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, and Frozen.
