Siemens AG Chemnitz opens its doors to external visitors.
Siemens Chemnitz, with around 1,500 employees, is the largest Siemens site in eastern Germany, consolidating development, engineering, production, sales, service, qualification, and training all at one location. At the Factory for Combination Technology (WKC), visitors can gain an insight into the production of electrical equipment for mechanical and plant engineering. WKC is the European market leader in control cabinet construction for machine tools and an important partner for its customers in logistics and automotive project business. In the electronics manufacturing sector, the Siemens Factory for Combination Technology Chemnitz offers power electronics development, engineering and technological support, as well as the production and testing of assemblies and devices.
