EuroBean Chocolate Festival

Look forward to the sweetest temptation of the European Capital of Culture 2025!

Friday | 2 PM – 6 PM
Saturday | 10 AM – 6 PM
Sunday | 10 AM – 6 PM

Since 2016, the EuroBean Chocolate Festival has established itself as a European chocolate festival. As a bean-to-bar experience, visitors can learn about the origin, cultivation conditions, and artisanal processing of cocoa. The festival promotes awareness of fair-trade cocoa and sustainability.

In the European Capital of Culture year, the festival will host 50 chocolate makers from across Europe and beyond. Visitors can experience industrial culture and innovations in production through tastings, a children’s program, a chocolate rally, workshops, concerts, catering, and a vibrant marketplace. The festival is an experience for all ages—not just for chocolate lovers.

The festival program can be found here

Due to the EuroBean Chocolate Festival, festival pricing will apply from August 1, 2025 (2:00 PM) to August 3, 2025. During the festival, entry to the museum is only possible with a festival ticket.

Travel Information: The Chemnitz Museum of Industry is easily accessible by public transport. We recommend arriving by bus or tram. The museum parking lot has limited space and is reserved for people with disabilities and festival participants. A sufficiently large parking area is available at Messe Chemnitz.
