The museum is located west of Chemnitz city center on Zwickauer Straße, at Kappler Drehe, and can be reached by:
Car
- A 4, exit Chemnitz-Mitte via Leipziger Straße (B 95)
- A 72, exit Chemnitz-Süd via Neefestraße
- B 173, towards city center / Zwickauer Straße
Parking is available on the museum grounds.
